How odd (but not exactly breaking news) that some folks pound the pulpit demanding modesty and shamfacedness, but completely ignore the scripture about costly array.

This entire thread HAS to be a joke. Someone please tell me that a few people here are being punked. There is NO WAY they auctioned off the shoes of Billy Cole and others. There's no way. Please come clean and admit this is a joke.

Despite these claims, is there anyone who can confirm this actually happened beside canam, and appearently sis falla.

Then take up money for it like Paul did when he appealed to the churches. He didn't auction off the a piece of bread from the Last Supper or a fish bone from the feeding of the 5,000. The early church gave because there was A CAUSE, not because they were jock-sniffers. I'm in denial. This can't be true. If this is true, I'd like to hear a reasonable defense from any pro-UPCer.

Every Sunday morning, before he goes out to speak, Joel Osteen puts on his dad's shoes and asks God to help him because he knows he has such big shoes to fill.
But that's his dad, for crying out loud!!!
Ok, I just told my wife about this and she let out a gasp that was louder than I've ever heard. I laughed and said, "I'm just waiting for DA to jump out from behind the corner and say, "Gotcha!!"
