Why did they react so quickly to a video provided by a website they claim is not a reliable news source? Hmmm..

I'd say they were worried about people not thinking they were acting fast enough or accusing them of employing racists. For examples, simply look at the start of this thread:
"How long then will she have to remain in the administration before you admit their silence and lack of discipline indicates tacit approval?"
"Let me ask you a question or two...
Who gave her the job?
Who has said nothing and has not demanded her resignation?
She is a member of the Obama administration, and by doing nothing about it he is showing that it is okay for people in his administration to act this way."
"Heard Breitbart talking about this earlier. She should be immediately fired!"
"I am elated to read that this woman has been fired."
"Proves whites don't have a monopoly of being a racist bigot."
"To be fair in this case he did the right thing and she was forced to resign. Eric Holder should have already been on that list for the things the justice department has done under his guidance."
True, the administration should have vetted this deception much better, but no matter what they did, someone was going to cry about their decision(s).

Why they did it, to me, is irrelevant. They still did it. They are just as guilty as anyone and should not point fingers at anyone else. That has become an all too often occurrence in our day, to lay blame on someone else

They admitted they acted too soon and with too little information. They have apologized many times. President Obama has apologized personally. They haven't skirted taking the blame for acting hastily.
Sure, they said they said that Andrew Breitbart caused this, but that's because he actually did. Blame should be placed where blame is due.

Re: Racism from the Obama Administration
So the question is has the Obama Administration proven in it's hasty knee-jerk reaction that they are not racist and are not attempting to carry out a racist agenda?
Unfortunately not.
People often see the actions of others through the same lens that clouds their vision.

I just dont see AB causing it for 2 reasons. Number 1 the liberal media were all saying they knew he was not trustworthy to begin with so why start trusting him now?
Second, it is totally unreasonable to fire or attack that woman without some sort of due process to investigate the whole matter...they did that AFTER the fact and found there was more video
Blame for her being fired, without due process, is laid at the feet of her boss and those that demanded her resignation

The LATimes says you are correct.
http://www.latimes.com/news/nationwo...005,full.story
Quote:
Reporting from Washington — Obama administration officials knew they did not have all the facts last summer when they rushed to dismiss Shirley Sherrod from the Agriculture Department after learning of a video that painted her as a racist, newly released e-mails show.
The day after Sherrod's ouster, even as USDA officials acknowledged in internal memos that they had not seen the full video, a White House senior aide e-mailed them to commend the department for moving quickly so the story would not gain "traction."
As it turned out, Sherrod had been falsely accused, and the actions taken by Agriculture Secretary Thomas J. Vilsack and his senior staff became a major embarrassment for the Obama administration, raising questions about its basic competence and its preoccupation with public perceptions.

Looks like they begged her to quit and Fox had run nothing.
Politicall correctness is the highest law of the land.

So Coadie,
Do you consider President Obama and/or his Administration to be racist?

Very much so. They ramped up more racism than we have seen in years.
Eric Holder was caught dropping a case of voter intimidation because the Black Panthers are black.
Under oath, the DOJ has been said to not prosecute any black vote issues.
Obama was a chief organizer for the racist ACORN. He sued banks over his racist agenda.
Obama fired an inspector General in california because he exposed huge fraud with one of Obama's bros.
Obama is extremely racist and his minions are required to be the same.

(1) Proof? Stats?
(2) Proof?
(3) Dude, c'mon! Proof?
(4) Is ACORN's mission race based or economic based? Prove that this organization is racist.
(5) The President's racist agenda? Splain please.
(6) Prove this.
(7) Does this include his Jewish, American white, Latino, Asian, and Other raced American supporters?
Your rant is idiotic.

I cited examples of the biased agenda. Too bad you are blinded to the rampant racist cases I mentioned.
As it turns out, the original judgment of "Pigford v. Glickman" in 1999 only applied to a total of 16,000 black farmers.
Quote:
The first test is where are you on the “time line” of this case. The priority consideration goes to those Black farmers who filed a late claim petition between October 12, 1999 and September 15, 2000. Most of these 65,000 farmers had their late claim denied by Michael Lewis, Chief
Arbitrator, in the case. Section 14012 of the 2008 Farm Bill was designed to override these denials and give Black farmers another chance to have their cases heard
|
.
Now Obama wants moneys for 80,000. There were only 26,785 operating farms in 1997.

Let this administration lie to get billions from the whitey?
His fast track racist shakedown needs to get handled because we are broke, the republicans are coming and may ask questions.
