Wait a minute....don't you pentecostals always say that just because it's the majority, doesn't mean the majority is right?

Yet, BILLIONS of dollars EVERY YEAR go into this garbage, with Christian TV taking the bulk. It always HAS BEEN and always WILL be the LOCAL CHURCH that Jesus set up to reach the world, through real authentic relationships!! That number that TBN puts up (ten million souls or whatever) is hogwash.
One of the greatest things that could ever happen to the modern-day church is for the government to find some way to shut down these thieves. For the "thief as come to kill, steal, and destroy" and that verse was NOT talking about the devil, but about religion!! TBN kills, steals, and destroys.
Yes, my TBN opinions are mild, I know.

Re: Madonna On TBN
For many years I could not watch the flagship TBN program because the set was just too painful for the eyes and too embarrassing as a Christian.
I mean white furniture trimmed in gold? C'mon!!!!! Then add in PC's nifty brightly colored sport coats with the giant coat of arms or seal of some kind on them and JC's makeup and hair and = Arghhhh!!!!!! It was like someone had said "what can we do to bring mocking and ridicule to Spirit filled Christians!".
It was always ironic that two people with such bizarre taste probably had the best business minds of all of the major television ministries as TBN always paid as it went when it built new TV stations and studios. I know at least into the late 90's that was the case and they were the most solvent of major TV ministries.
I often pondered why some folks with class could not have built that kind of Christian television empire.

Titus2woman on AFF
"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

That is SO true!!! But let's face it, folks with class would never do to people the things it takes to build an empire like that.
I just read...Its (TBN) most recent tax returns showed revenue of $201 million, expenses of $141 million, and net assets of $839 million.
