Praise the Lord Everybody!! Just got back from family prayer and Bible study I will endeavor to respond to each of your queries in the fear and admonition of the Lord . If I miss you it was NOT intentional . May God bless our understanding

If we were in a Brothers meeting together( yes we believe strongly in multiplicity of elders ( Ordained men) my counsel to you would be : Be like your Saviour in the Book of Revelation and be clothed with a garment down to the foot. Thanks for making me laugh.Everyone has a gift and that must be one of yours.

I have a request that if you don't want to do I will fully understand. Many persons value anonymnity on AFF for good reasons.
My request if you are open to it is to share with us your religous background / history and what group if any you are associated with today. You have revealed some interesting facts like your belief in multiple elderships, etc but it would be interesting to further understand the religous journey you have taken in life and where you are at in it now. I do not believe you are a mainstream Oneness Pentecostal in the vein of UPC, ALJC, etc.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
