Excuse me, Digging, but I didn't hear her say, no. She said, "I am not taking a position." That means she has doubts. That means she is saying, yes, it could be true. She is a Truther and needs a t-shirt.

I thought "I'm not taking a position" meant I'm not saying one way or the other?

The implication is there ... I understand you are fond of her ... but if this had been Obama ... he would be crucified.

ICYMI: DMN Says Rick Perry's Latest Ad Is "Designed To Mislead"
By Joe Pounder | February 9th, 2010 | (0) Comments | Permalink | ShareThis

“This ad is selective in its facts, and the omissions are designed to mislead.” – The Dallas Morning News
In a new television ad called “Tough Decisions,” Rick Perry touts his moves to cut taxes and spending. It pictures him on a Main Street setting, then touring a construction sight and concludes that because of his decisions, Texas “is the best place to do business.” But several of the claims are distorted:

THE CLAIM: “I vetoed more than $3 billion in spending.”

THE FACTS: He’s counting about $2.5 billion that he ceremonially vetoed -- it was contingency money linked to bills that the Legislature did not approve. Most of the “cuts” were appropriations for nixed bills, discontinued agencies and federal money that eventually had to be repaid.

In many of the statements he issued upon vetoing the money, Perry stated that his veto was merely procedural. So in most cases, he is counting as cuts money that never would have been spent. (For more on this claim, take a look at this Heat Index item from January

Who is "ICYMI"?

If the Republicans continue to smear each other and fall on their swords ... White may very snatch up this election.

My concerns are in line with PO's on can she deliver.

As to the 9/11 issue...for ME not an issue. As governor she has no control of 9/11 information one way or the other.

Although, I personally don't believe that our government had anything what so ever to do with it. I know HISTORY shows where the government in other countries did in fact harm it's own citizens in order to make new laws to take rights away from their citizens.

And again, even though I personally don't believe our government had anything to do with 9/11 I do know we have lost a lot of rights under the guise of protection.

You mean White?

I agree with you and have stated that before.

Yes ... White.

New to Texas politics ... but the man seemed to do a solid job here in Houston ... as a moderate.

At this pace ... and intensity of vitriol ... I am starting to think that it will happen ...

If it does ... it is a game changer.

The Hutchinson and Perry ads I am hearing on the radio are hilarious .... calling each other liars, hypocrites, even phonys ...

They are writing their epitaphs it seems.
