Seriously, I know the circumstances behind this & it was my Pastor's call to allow it, I understand the reasons & agree with him on this one.

Care to share the possibilities of reasons for a re-baptism? I can't imagine why one would ever be re-baptized.

I have heard of some who have been baptized again later in life, stating that their first baptism didn't have any meaning to them.

Some just got baptized to make parents or grandparets happy.

I'm sure that some of our youth have gotten baptized just because it was pushed upon them. Then after coming to a better undestanding of Chist, they decided that they did want to publicly express their faith by being baptized.

Did they have to be re-baptized? Probably not. But I would not councl someone who wanted to re commit or maybe commit for the frst time, their life to Christ. If they asked to be baptised again, because this time they actually understood the commitment they were making, I don't think there would be anything wrong with it.
