I preached in Ontario back in 2003 and the brother who took me to the airport told me his mothjer waited 6 months for a gall bladder surgery. She finally went to Michigan band paid for the procedure. He was self emplyed and said his taxes almost made it impossible to survive. He said he didn't know very many that liked the system. The brother above said so himself he lives in a small town. I'm sure the socialized system works better with a smaller population than in the metro areas.

Do a little Google search and you'll see that TN shut down TennCare b/c it just got way too expensive and Mass is struggling to keep their universal healthcare system sustainable.

Obama is going to do such damage to the Dem party it will take a long time to recover their losses in 2010 and 2012. He's a one term president, and the Dems will lose their majorities in a few elections. Corzine is losing in NJ and the Dem governor in VA is double digits behind.


There are millions of people who can not buy health ins. because of various reasons, none relating to being poor.
The poor can not get long term care. MB Anderson cancer in Houston refuses to give care to the poor and even those that have group health ins.on their jobs.

U have facts for the above claim about MBAnderson? Are there no other cancer hospitals in Houston? Are there any other options for the poor? I wud think there are.


If they push this through as you say, it will have the opposite effect. There will be less Republicans elected in 2010,which is perfectly fine with me.

Have you watched the poll numbers over the summer? You're living in fantasy land if you think that Americans want socialized medicine. If the Dems force this in spite of the huge momentum against it, you'll be pulling the proverbial foot out of your mouth come Election Day 2010.

Yes I've seen the poles. Poles can be manipulated by folks that peddle misinformation. There have been so many lies told by those that want the system to remain the same. The older folks you see at these town halls are up in arm shouting leave my ins. alone, these people are on Medicare. The right has scared them to death with their lies about the cut in Medicare. The cut is not in Medicare. The cut or savings has to do with the supplement ins.

Sometimes saying the truth can be a lie of misinformation. Example 1000 page health care bill. True it is 1000 pages but it is not printed like a book.
If the health care bill was printed in book form the bill would not be more that 150 pages if that. Thing are not always the way they seem.
