LOLOL Have a life!
As to agreements: Not a problem. I am not looking for agreements from the community, only that the bill actually be studied. Is it what our country needs?
I have a real heart burn with it, while others may "love it". Opinions will vary among people according to their perception of the problem and its solution. But, I have seen first hand how the currently ran government (administrated) health care works. To give over all health care authority to them is, to me, like signing an execution warrant for those individuals deemed no longer worthy of life (the procedure is too expensive, the patient is too old, too sick, or is too something else ..., etc.). These decisions will be made more on policy lines rather than on medical realities.
Remember how HMO administrators use to do the same thing (and sometimes still do)? Medical decisions were based primarily on expected return-on-investment (cost effective) results, i.e., corporate profits.
However, I think one can still sue HMO's for wrongful death decisions, which has driven them to be a little more careful in their decision-making process. But, with a federally imposed program, there is no recourse, no appeal, and no alternative. It will be the "old HMO" approach to health care all over again, but this time it will be nation wide!
I may be wrong - but that is how I see it.
