Re: The Latest from the "Holiness Police"

I just think that it is a shame that people lower themselves to destroy others...They can preach all the standards they want to preach but if they kill others their standards (dress) will NOT save them...sadly some people would fit in the Mafia better than they do in the Bible!

Re: The Latest from the "Holiness Police"

You know what? I don't restrict anything. If I don't want someone to see or read it, I don't post it. I know that is a novel idea but I just post things anywhere as if ANYONE can see it or read it............because they CAN! Imagine that! LOL

I've never had to have something removed or deleted. The internet is PUBLIC......hell-o?

Nothing wrong with restricting viewing abilities of others IMO if that is the way you want to protect your privacy. I just protect my privacy another way......I keep it private!

Great point! And there is even scripture that teaches the very same thing!

Gal 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

2Ti 2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all [men], apt to teach, patient,
2Ti 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

Yet a couple more scriptures conveniently overlooked by many of the finger pointers. I leads one to speculate on them a little:

1. If they were were really after the propagation of truth, might they actually follow these scriptures?

2. Perhaps truth is not what is important, but is is rather pride. I am right, you are wrong. My identity and self esteem is not tied up in scripture but in my traditions.

Just some thoughts.

Wow! What a body blow. From one who has been around those who ride the Outward Holiness High Horse with spurs, that is the truth.

Re: The Latest from the "Holiness Police"

It looks like folks have too much time on their hands and could benefit from some much needed time in prayer and Bible study themselves.

None of us have room to point the finger at anyone else. We all have to work out our own soul salvation with fear and trembling.
