not the same....

I've got to be in a moving car, preferrably my Aunt's gray Chevrolet "Rabbit" hatchback or in my own car.

Most of my memories of "Family Radio" stem from times riding in my Aunt's old car.

Not the same, but I'll give it a shot!

I loved those! I grew up listening to Adventures in Odyssey, Unshackled, and a few other Saturday morning kids' shows. (Can't remember the names....) I also remember listening to Mystery Theater with my Dad!

Wink Re: Are Veggie Tales Ungodly?!

I always listened to Unshackled. Can you imagine...radio!
I also loved Adventures in Odyssey.

****this is an unsolicited advertisement for Colorado Springs and Focus on the Family****
They have a childrens' section that includes Odyssey. Great fun for little ones and even big kids like me.

It "is" worth visiting. Stop and see the Air Force Academy as well.

Re: Are Veggie Tales Ungodly?!

Well some people would make good hermits! I have NOT read the pro's and con's however kids will be kids...Been a lot of places where kids seemed to like Veggie tales...I personally have never read or listened to a Veggie tale...

I used to read Nancy Drew and the Hardy boys when I was growing up...! Still like a good mystery if I had the time...ha..

After I got older I read Grace L. Hill books...I have heard that preached against too...lol...

No. Which makes it all the more questionable of a claim.

The person that said this is a friend of mine, and someone I respect, but I strongly disagree on ths point. I was just wanting to get some other peoples views to see if anyone thought I was out of line or being stubborn by rejecting such a premise.

Re: Are Veggie Tales Ungodly?!

My journalism training makes me feel guilty if a quote is not properly accredited. I don't have a huge ego...
