Re: Women's Hair: Men Like It Longer

Interesting thought, sister, but angel does not always mean a heavenly angel, but can refer to a preacher. ANGEL literally means MESSENGER. And since angels cnanot repent to redeem themselves, the angels of the churches told to repent were the church's pastors.

My thoughts, anyway.

In Christ there is neither male nor female. I can't help but believe it was the perfect
will of God to have an angel represented in every home.

God said HE sought for a man to make up the hedge, but HE didn't find a man. So HE put
an angel in each church. But that wasn't perfect either as HE had somewhat
against each.

The OT mentions on more than one occasion, "the angel of His Presence". The "ark
of the covenant" represented His Presence. But in and through the New Covenant,
His Presence could/should be in every one who who received Him. He would be IN
them, instead of just WITH them. It just depends on how much of His Presence we
desire and will allow. How much do we desire or stay in His Presence. HE is able to
do exceeding abundantly above what we can ask or think, ACCORDING TO THE
POWER/PRESENCE that dwelleth IN us!!!

I believe it is God's Will and desire to have a representative, someone in every home
to represent HIS POWER and HIS PRESENcE!!! It can be male or female. Someone who
will consecrate and dedicate to stand in the "gap/or make up the hedge, so that when
the enemy comes into a home or sanctuary, that "angel of HIS PRESENCE, can with
power and authority stand and say with authority, "NO, devil! Not this home! Not this
sanctuary!! and stand ....!

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate
of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts
of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with
all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Now what was that we were saying about "power on her head because of
the angels"!
You get a "mother hen" and try to get near her "chicks" and you
will have a fight on your hands". It is the nature of a true mother to want to
protect and fight for her "babies" and she'll die before she lets the enemy
have them!! Do I hear an amen!! It's her very nature. No wonder Jesus told
"his own , even though they rejected him, "how oft would I have gathered
you together as a mother doth her chicks, but you would not.

Blessings,

Bro. Blume,

Where do pastors come from! They come from homes and families.
I could have said I believe there is a messenger or "angel" of every
home, as families make up churches.

I have seen churches that look/or/ depend on the "mothers in Zion"
to pray for revival, etc. Also sensitive brethren who are aware of the
wolves lurking nearby! In Christ there is neither male nor female. It is
who will HEAR HIS VOICE and answer the call to make up the hedge.
(close/or stand in the opening)until God removes/destroys the enemy.

John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

An Indian was walking in downtown New York City alongside a resident friend. As they approached a busy street corner in the center of Manhattan, the Indian seized his friend's arm and whispered, "Wait. I hear a cricket." "Come on!", the city boy sneered, "This is downtown New York -- how could you possibly hear a cricket?" His friend persisted however, "No - seriously, I do!"

As cars were roaring, horns honking, people shouting, brakes screeching, cash registers clanging, subway clamoring and people bustling about, the Indian began leading his friend along slowly, every now and again stopping and turning his ear toward the seemingly noiseless sound. At last, the Indian insisted they were near and proceeded to follow the sound across the street and toward a small dark corner next to a graffiti covered wall. There, he bent down to a miniscule tuft of grass and pulled out the cricket. "I told, you", he said, "I heard a cricket." Sensitive ear. A hearing ear, if you please!

Astounded, the New Yorker marveled "How could you have heard that cricket in the middle of all this noise?" "Well", said his foreign friend, "My ears are different from yours. It simply depends on what you're listening to. Here, let me show you what I mean." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a handful of change --a couple of quarters, three or four nickels, and a dime and a few pennies. "Now," he said, "watch this." He held the coins waist high and dropped them to the sidewalk. At once, every head within nearly a block turned around and looked in the direction of the Indian.

"You see, It all depends on what you're listening to."

To what sounds are our ears trained to listen? Are they trained to hear the sound of money, of gossip, of complaining, of worldly things or are they trained to hear the still small voice of the Most High, directing and advising us in the way we should go?

There are families and churches, that it is evident to those who eyes and
ears are trained to recognize the dedicated, consecrated men and women
of God, who no doubt have been called and set apart, to make up the hedge or stand in the open space where, especially in times of transition, the enemy can slip in or a "sheep" can slip out. A little one who is not aware of the danger outside the boundries or fences that were set for their safety.

God knows who will be sensitive and discern when an enemy is at the gate or door, etc. They hear a certain sound and recognize it. They hear the still small voice when others are totally unaware.

Well of course.

Besides, my momma taught me never to ask a woman how old they are.

Instead I just ask them how much they weigh (lol).

This is YOUR opinion. I've seen a lot of cute, feminine, short hair-do's and a lot of pulled back tight, long hair-do's and buns that are totally lacking in any kind of feminine appeal. I find that curls are feminine regardless of length. Sex symbols like Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor had short hair. Not all men like long hair. Plenty of men like neat, easy to take care of hair on women.

It reminds me, one of my daughters was asked if she was into witchcraft because she had long black hair.
