You're right, we didn't play with paper dolls or paper bullets where I went to school. My playground weapon was a switchblade disquised to look like a comb.

Were you ever unlucky enough to get hit by a pellet shot out of one of them Benjamin single shot .22 caliber pumps? It spreads that pellet and leaves an awfully huge bruise! I guess the jeans were the only thing kept it from breaking the skin.
All I ever had to retaliate was a lever action Daisy that after about 6 months rolled the BBs out the end of the barrel instead of shooting them! Of course after i shot the red cockaded woodpecker in front of the policeman and Ms Lyons canary in its cage I didn't have ANY BB gun or backside for a long long time!
