Twitter's issue isn't money or servers, the problem is that it uses so many different portals it hits redundancy issues... They have millions in venture capital that helps keep them running... they just need to keep it all on one platform rather than building on two frameworks.

I love Facebook. No complaints. In fact, other than their occasional changes that we all hate, I don't know many who complain about Facebook. It's quite functional.

Live on the news. The last several news articles I've read regarding Facebook was about how they are growing in such exponential numbers -- particularly interesting, among age groups of 30+. Unheard of.

Then there was the TOS scandal.... The Beacon Scandal when they were ruining peoples gifts because again Facebook overstepped their boundaries...

I am not saying Facebook sucks... they just do things that suck but there is no alternative, I am just asking that people Give Everyone's Connected a try again tell their friends make it grow and then if you don't like it, Leave and only do the Fbook thing.

If people want to join your site, they will join it. You don't have to keep bumping this thread begging people to join. I think admin has been pretty lenient about letting you keep this on the first page of the forum for so long. The link to your site is in your signature line, that should be enough promotion without trying to keep this thread on the first page all the time.

Or just make it cool enough that they want to join. Bashing Facebook will not win you many EC converts IMO. Sales 101. Never bash the product people are using -- instead, accentuate the product you are offering.

This thread has nothing to do with trying to steal people from the site, I have been an active member on the site in the past many times and my goal is not to bump this thread. I know the large majority of EC was apostolic so I post information here as a public service... In fact I would make the quick assumption that at least 50% of the users are from AFF....

Not bashing... your the one who took an offensive stance as to why I was even offering the site. I was offering you reason why MANY people wish there was another site besides facebook and myspace, you got into the thread by telling me my site was pointless and it was a failure... I simply showed you instances where facebook has let people down and the fact is that they will continue to.

Join or don't in either case I could care less because you seem to take offense to someone offering a public service.
