I love this remark, let's you know you were in the vain of God and doing what the Lord would have to do. Perhaps she has never had any positive attention in her life.

Glad she found God and is going to your church.
Yes, I do. I want to share something God showed me this morning. Hope it's not too long. Basically, getting calls about things, reading confusing things happening here, Rick Warren for example, etc., etc. I was really down this morning.

The Lord brought that song to me - I need your mercy, I need your grace, I need your hand leading the way.......

Then He reminded me of the first part of Psalm 31:

In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed (confused); deliver me in they righteousness. Bow down thine ear to me: deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for a house of defense to save me. For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me..."

Then He reminded me of the first part of Psalm 91:

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."

The "secret place" is His presence.

He was saying, in effect, "These are the two portions of scriptures I keep giving your over and over through the years. You have to believe them."

Then He reminded me of Abraham and how he went to sacrifice his son. He impressed this thought and I wish I could make it sound how it felt - "Abraham didn't understand everything, but in his heart he wanted to trust in God. He wanted to do whatever God asked of him. He wanted to believe and obey. If your heart can be that way, you have nothing to fear."

Beautiful!!! So, whatever confusion comes our way - He has a way of directing us, talking to us, helping us!!!

And yes, I am glad God brought her to a place where people will love her!!

During that same time our washing machine broke down. Before we started school, I told my daughter that I wanted to pray that God would get us a new washing machine.

The very next day my MIL called and first thing she said, "Do ya'll need a new washing machine."

I said, "WHAT?!!!!"

She got a little irritated and repeated herself. LOL!

She had washed a knee-high in her washer and they thought it was broken, went and bought a new one, hooked it up and used it. Later, my husband's father looked closer to see what was wrong with their washer. Too late to take the newest one back, so they called to see if we wanted it. I think God did that for me!
Well let me share my recent blessing!

15 yrs ago, I let a stupid (yes STUPID) dentist do unnecessary work on a perfectly healthy canine tooth, it was just a little shorter than the other so he filed it down and put an adhesive on it so my two canine teeth were the same length.

Well the adhesive he used changed COLOR after 5yrs, so for the last 10yr I have had this discolored tooth...

I have been in and out of my current dentist office waiting to finally get it done, waiting on insurance ect for 7yrs..by this point everyone knows about my UGLY tooth.

So YESTERDAY my dentist finally worked on it and HOORAY! He is going to take care of it for half of the price!!!!!!!! yea!!!!!!!

In other words, no out of pocket cost! God Bless my Baptist Dentist!

That's awesome!

I went to the Dermatologist on Monday for a spot on the side of my nose. At first I thought it might be an age spot and then wondered if it could be cancer. So, I prayed and then made an appointment.

My nurse is the mother of one of our son's best friends. After the doctor told me it was only a sun spot and they could give me something to get rid of it - expensive Retin-A - the nurse gave me a load of samples. She said, "I'm going to give these to you because I like you." She also charged me the smallest amount for the visit. I walked out only paying $125 and that included a day moisturizer with 60 SPF.

That was awesome! When she came to the waiting room door and called my name, she said, "I wasn't expecting this to be you." I'm like, "Hey, I didn't know you worked here!" LOL!

Like TD Jakes says Favor isnt fair! Some people think things like this are coincidence but I think they are divine and God's favor in our lives.

Amen and you know it, because you can feel it!

One time my daughter wanted a 10-speed. She's 5'5" barefoot, so you know she was a little drink of water growing up. lol I knew her father wouldn't buy her one.

I told her, "Well, you better pray because God will get you a bike faster than Daddy will."

That same week a lady in church called me, "We have a 10-speed in our garage. We are never going to use it. Do you think one of your children would like to have it?"

"Yes, Ma'am! I think my daughter would!"

Okay, that's it.

Sorry, Edward! I'll try to think of something depressing to say about dressing nice - maybe later!

I always dress nicely for church. A nice Hawaiian shirt, nice cargo shorts or pants, nice sandals.
