In my lifetime, I've known at least 3 couples personally who didn't have children and it was prophesied they would have a bouncing baby (girl/boy) within "one year."
One of my friends did have a little girl...15 years after that prophecy! It was a miracle, definitely, but he was still a false prophet IMO.
How much anointing does it take to look at someone who is bald and thin and doesn't have eyebrows, and tell them they are struggling with a cancer in their body? Or someone with dark circles under their eyes that they could have kidney trouble? (I can't remember if that's a symptom for sure--but my point is that recognizing symptoms of diseases is an easy skill to learn)
They mixed up my meds once and I got the darkest rings around my eyes, all around including the eyelids and the sides. I was a mess. It was caused by a sudden loss of blood pressure. Cadaverous is how I would describe myself.
A simple over the counter antihistimine with HCI was the cure for me.
*** Check with your doctor... yadda, yadda, yadda... I'm just "some guy" on the Internet.

Ok, so maybe he was a little off that day.
Dont be so hard on the guy.

That reminds me of a preacher my former pastor told me about...
When his wife was pregnant, the preacher made a point of having her stand up in front of the church and he loudly and boldly prophesied that she was carrying "a manchilld" that would be greatly used by God.
But when the child was born, it was a little girl!

Miss Brattt, I prophesy that you will post at least 50 more messages on AFF before the end of this year.
(Yea, the prophet of the Lord hath spoken it, and it shall come to pass. Then thou shalt know that there is a prophet among you.)

I received the above information in a daily devotional
from David Wilkerson today! Just thought I would pass
it on.

Not very specific, is he? Just throws out a bunch of generally dire "predictions". So what?

I don't personally care for DW's sharing of his fears, in a prophetic manner. However, I do respect his ministry, he is deeply invested in the ministy of good works and the Good News.

I received this today from someone who used to be on staff at the Vineyard and who is now involved in the ministry at The Lord's Gym
The url for The Lord's Gym is http://www.focas-us.org/lordsgym.htm
Bob, the guy that sent this out to a bunch of people is the guy on the right talking with the guys in the circle.

Friends,
For some time I've noticed quite a few warnings of trouble brewing from "prophetic types" and secular sources. I usually take alot of this with a grain of salt. But even my neighbor across the street who teaches crimnology at Kaplan College (formerly a state patol officer and special ranger) has told me he has sources in law enforcement who are prepaing for civil unrest and riots.
Yesterday...I became aware of David Wilkerson's recent warning on his blog. David Wilkerson of course started Teen Challenge years ago and wrote "The Vision" in 1973 warning of much of what has already happened in America.
I have great respect for David Wilkerson...I pay attention to what he says.
He says get prepared....SOON.

I bought 30 day supply of food today. Pray and do what you think you should.
God is in control.
So on day 31, our grocery stores will be open again?
Why not 60 or 90 days worth? For that matter, why not a years worth?
And what about water? Should be be buying a months worth of bottled water or investing in 500 gallon cistern tanks to fill up now? (Actually that might not be a bad idea for a variety of possible reasons.)
