I know that women involved in DV cases can be very fearful and fear for their lives. They may feel that even if they leave they will be dogged by their spouse and that no one will believe them. Her husband was obviously a very charismatic man, as most abusive men are. I do believe she was abused.

I still feel that shooting someone in the back is not a Christian response, which would try to live in faith rather than murder.

I haven't heard that one. She was a substitute teacher when they were married and lived in Selmer and she has been working at a dry cleaners in McMinville (sp?), TN since she's been out on bond.

Besides, would she even be able to get a job at the Post Office, since that's a federal job, being in the position that she was in?

I know that seems obvious to some, but I work in a Domestic Violence shelter. It is a very liberal environment where some would feel that it was self defense because she was abused. So, in the line of work that I am in, it is indeed drawing a line!

BTW, I am viewed as so conservative there, that some people have no idea how to take me! It is an oftentimes anti-Christian, pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, feminazi place. Every day I speak with people who are all of the above.
