Well could you ask whoever makes it if they make any with pecans instead of peanuts?

I could ask, but whether or not they'll make it is a different story!

I wish I could make it. I have a lot of people who still want brittle but I have none left.

If they will share the recipe I am sure you can just substitute pecans for peanuts. Although pecans are larger. That might be a factor.

Break graham crackers in halves and spread them on a cookie pan.

Melt 1 stick of margarine, and 1/2 cup of sugar together until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Sprinkle chopped pecans across the graham crackers, and drizzle the butter/sugar mixture over them.

Bake the graham crackers in oven at 375 degrees for approximately 6-8 minutes. Do not let them burn.

Let cool completely and store them in an airtight container.
I make these but with butter or club crackers and call them Quickie Pralines.

Re: Easy Super Bowl Snack Recipes

Cindy- this is my SIL recipe- She supported 3 churches on this recipe. I have never made it by myself, but I have helped her with it.

Pentecostal Peanut Brittle
3 cups sugar
1/2 cup water
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 Tablespoon margarine
1 cup white syrup
2 1/2 cups peanuts
1/2 teaspoon salt
Cook with candy thermometer to 250 degrees. Add peanuts; cook until golden color and peanuts begin to pop open. Add soda, salt, and margarine. It will foam up. Pour small amount of mixture into a buttered 8 inch pie pan. Quickly shake pan until mixture is spread evenly. Adjust amount poured to get desired thickness. Allow to cool until can be popped out of pan. Turn out, upside down. Cool, then bag.

Ham and Cheese Spirals
1 egg
1 Tbsp. water
1 sheet frozen puff pastry (1/2 of 17-1/4-oz. pkg.), thawed
1/4 cup KRAFT 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese, divided
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)
8 slices OSCAR MAYER Shaved Smoked or Brown Sugar Ham

PREHEAT oven to 400°F. Beat egg and water until blended; set aside. Unfold pastry on lightly floured surface. Roll into 14x10-inch rectangle; cut in half lengthwise. Brush both pastry halves lightly with some of the egg mixture. Sprinkle 3 Tbsp. of the cheese and the pepper evenly over one of the pastry pieces; cover with ham slices. Place remaining pastry piece, egg-side down, over ham. Roll gently with rolling pin to seal. Brush with additional egg mixture.
ROLL up tightly to form a 14-inch log, starting at one of the long sides. Cut log crosswise into 24 slices. Place, cut-sides down, on parchment-covered baking sheet. Brush with remaining egg mixture; sprinkle with remaining 1 Tbsp. cheese.
BAKE 12 to 14 min. or until golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature.
