Not much really - less then $500. shocking?

The reason why is, we (family) pretty much stopped exchanging gifts.

Here was my C'mas budget:
$200 - Dept Staff
$70 - Aff Gift
$96 - family member
total- $366

Some years we go on a vacation during C'mas but we didn't this year - Just didn't feel motivated. Last year we went to Santa Monica (west LA beach) and spent a bundle. My mother gave me 2000 I went out and bought me 2 new suits- does that count? lol I still have most of the $ left over - found the clothes on sale

Our extended family this year collectively decided to forego gift-giving. So we bought only for our kids and grand-kids.

Spent a total of about $300.

I cut back to about spending a third on my children of what I have been. It was time since they are married now and I have spouses to buy for too. You would have never known it though because they were happy with everything I got them! I still did stockings, but didn't spend as much on those either - it was fun!

Re: How Much Did you Spend On Christmas???(POLL)

I am definitely in the "Over $500" category, but it was the new computer I bought my wife that really put me over the top.

Vista 64-bit is VERY nice (as long as you have 4 or more gigs of RAM)!

Tina, next time we do this gift exchange thing, will you do me a favor and give my name to Mark? WOW! And here I thought all along that we had a $20 budget to work with.

Trust me... I am enjoying it!

That breaks down to two $25 gift certificates and overnight shipping from CA.
