Most peppers are very good for you, for a variety of reasons. The biggest that I know of is for what they do for your digestive system, very good for it.

Absolutely...
Do some searches on capsaicin.
Cayenne Pepper has a lot of good benefits too.
I take capsules of Cayenne Pepper so that I don't have to experience the burn in my mouth.
Many benefits...
Another good one.. not a pepper though.... Pomegranates & pomegranate juice.

Uh, I grew up watching those at my grandmother's house, and I've never ONCE vaporized a spider!

Yes. 
Spicy foods share some properties, and each have some of their own. All peppers are very good for you, onions, garlic, etc.
Peppers are excellent for the circulatory system and the heart. If you get into Chinese medicine..there's a lot more there. But I think I'll skip that information for now.
