Re: SIGNS OF RECESSION! Sales of SPAM Higher than

I haven't had Spam since I was a child. My mom would fry it and we'd eat it with fried potatoes or make a sandwich with it.

I think canned tuna or chicken would be around the same price and I'd rather have either of those than Spam.

WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN???? He was born and raised in the jungles of Liberia, West Africa, where TStew's parents are (close by). His parents were pioneer UPC missionaries. I thought everyone on here knew that.

Oh Sherri, now Mark is going to start a thread:

****NEWSFLASH - Sherri is married to an African*******

Of course, he'll spell something wrong and send admin a report to change the spelling.

Well, I am! He's the most African-American person I know, other than TStew! The black folks at our church love to tell their friends that their pastor is a white African-American.

BTW, Mark, Spam knock-offs are NASTY. You have to be picky and buy the real thing.

No need to get your blood pressure up and start snapping.
I just thought missions in Africa was something you and your husband had gotten involved in since pastoring -
didn't know it was apart of his childhood- you would think I had committed a sin!
