yeah, attending Faith more than River of LIfe... but my kids need the youth group...so you know.... it is back to both churches since talking with you last.
Of course I also visit a Black Apostolic church in INDY... awesome services. Love it. I've taken a friend from the Nazarene church there.
But you said you was going to eventually get out of the UPC
I understand Sister Foreverblessed is singing some at a Nazarene church and doing a bible study there why don't you let her explain her side of this ?
Let's let Foreverblessed explain herself.

thanks for coming to my rescue Brother Scott... one of my girls just told me my cell phone has a missed call from you!
I just barely got back home when I pulled up the forum and realized St.Mark had already posted his thread...
I am putting into action something that Jim Yohe wrote an article about before he passed. Something about attending other churches and being among the people... letting what I have make an impact on them.
I think it a good thing to attending other churches. About 10 years ago hubby and I wanted to see what other's really taught. So every Sunday for six months we attended four different faiths and churches throughout the day! It was a great experiences, the first thing we learned was God was there! We also learned not a one of them taught three gods, as we were lead to beleive.. The last thing was this, no demons were hanging off the light fixtures in these churches. But most of all I really enjoyed hearing of God love for a change, instead of my hair or dress, next bake sale,,,,
_Did you hear that Foreverblessed has left her UPC church and now attending a Trinitarian Nazarene church???????????????????????
- She is leading the worship in this church!!!!!
- A UPC preacher advised her to do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Her family is in agony over this!! Elder Readings would roll over if he knew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
.
Well Marky we all have our weaknesses don't we?
I go to a Lutheran church from time to time, and you go to those Church of God meetings with those hat ladies...

I am a firm believer in the Old Paths
Articles on such subjects as "The New Birth," will be accepted, whether they teach that the new birth takes place before baptism in water and Spirit, or that the new birth consists of baptism of water and Spirit. - THE PENTECOSTAL HERALD Dec. 1945
"It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves
But you said you was going to eventually get out of the UPC
when my kids are grown...(one gone and two to go) I plan to put into action what I believe that I've been called to do. What good does it do to keep everything within 4 walls... the great commission was to Go forth... not to stay in a church saying "come visit us!"
I feel I have a ministry to the "churched" more so than those who do not have an experience at all with God.
Like in Acts Chapter 10.. Cornelius was a devout man who feared God... still he had more to know of God...
I also can learn from what I am doing.... God is drawing people closer to him in all walks of Faith.... I trust him to lead me.
