We have tried to help our church to understand that we need God nomatter who is elected and we can't afford to get away from that.
This has been a stirring time for our nation because of this election, I pray we all me included would allow ourselves to be stired up about the coming of the Lord and make our election sure.
No judgements, just giving ourselves to trusting God, and the things that need to be judged in our lives He (God) will speak to us about them.
My sister sent me an email saying to remember that when you're voting a "straight ticket" (All Democratic or all Republican candidates), some ballots still require you to vote separately for the Presidential election. OR, if you vote for the President, and then select STV, you could deselect your Presidential vote.
Personally, I'm not quite sure I understand how the ballot can become "spoiled", but it's probably best to just make sure you read the instructions on your ballot carefully and follow the rules for your state/county!

Politics is not part of Apostolic culture. We can pray and pray and pray but the fact of the matter is for the past 28 years conservative, pro-life, pro prayer it the schools, and anti giving contraception to school age children without parental consent has been in office and: Row VS. Wade has not been over-turned, prayer is still off limits in the school, and the are still bussing our children to abortion clinics and passing out contraception without parental knowledge.
The United States wants change? They won't get it just putting a Pentecostal female in the VP position or McCain in as president.
But face it. you can't get more change than having an atheist, half African American, Muslim, anti-American president - now can you?

Obama suports Abortion and gay marriage.
McCain opposes abortion and gay marriage.
But yet you you support Obama?
One only needs to look at history!!! No President has stop the killings or unborn, not one!!! Nor will they!!!! The President can't and never will stop it!!!! The system set up for the people, the people want killings, so there you have it!!!
Only a change heart by God can change this Nations views on killing the unborn!!
The only different between Obama and McCain, is Obama up front about it, unlike McCain who record show he not done a thing towards stopping the killings while in office.
I am sick and tired of people blaming Bush for the economic crisis we are now facing.... If you would do some real research you would find that this actually started under democratic administrations - The "demoncrats" are the ones who perpetuated the Fannie Mae - Freddie Mac problems.
No, Bush is not perfect - but it IS NOT ALL HIS FAULT!!!!! CONGRESS (a "demoncratic" congress) bears most of the blame!!!!!
The problem is that EVERYTHING that could have been done on his watch to prevent all this mess was simply not done.
Honestly, he (and Republincans) has to bear the lion's share of this responsibility.
The buck does stop with him and them who had CONTROL OF BOTH THE HOUSE AND SENATE FOR SIX YEARS!
Whenever I think about it, it makes me angry because for 6 years, the Republicans had the White House, Congress and the Senate and they did NOTHING to earn their keep regarding homosexuality and abortion!
Our country had a SURPLUS at the turn of the century-- now we are in debt so far that it will take MANY MANY YEARS to dig us out!I try to give GWB credit when he desreves it, try to show him a little grace in my thoughts towards him.
But THERE ARE SOMETHINGS WHERE HE SIMPLY SCREWED THE POOCH!
Be honest with yourself and get over it-- because this what America simply has to do!!!
