my friend, the DOW has lost 50% of its value at least 3 may be 4 times since the great depression.

We have been here before. It is bad. It will get worse. but that doesnt mean we are going to fold up shop and move to Equidor.

a year from now, we wont be turning the governement over to the Canadians or the Mexicans. There will still be an America and America will still be a dominant player in the world.

and lets not forget, as bad as the depression was DOW stock market lost 89% of its value, unemployment reached above 25% for a decade.

eventually America came out of it and we were stronger than we had ever been.

It took a decade or so with a government with zero debt. Not a penny owed.

We have an economy that is failing and a government that is strapped beyond all conceivable means.

So you think there is a machine that rolls up the sidwalks and dismantals buildings and they are building ships to take us back to the old country?

Im being funny here, but seriously. even if things go from bad to worse, do you really think that America will simply cease to exist? That the end game here is what? no more America?

Nope... there will be an America... but no more dollar.

The dollar is collapsing.

What I am seeing is the end of the dollar. Then what happens to our investments when our dollar is as valuable as a Continental Script?

It isn't the end of the world...

But it is the end of the world as we know it.

Following (or preceding) the collapse of said dollar will be riots by a spoiled people who have been bailed out of every possible hardship.

Then that will be followed by martial law.

So the end of the dollar and the end of what made America... well... America.

But... in name... the country will never miss a lick. But everything that made her America will change hands.

The end of America... absolutely not.

The end of what America is about... it is already right in front of our eyes.

Economists are saying more bank failures are coming. European banks are failing. The global ecomomy is teetering.

We are moving past the potential for recession. I believe we are already in the beginnings of an economic depression. This is going to get much, much worse.

In my area of the country, car dealerships are closing left and right. Grocers are closing. Inflation is through the roof, particularly on groceries.

There is the potential that we may be entering an age of centralized global banking.

Scary stuff.

Sounds like the recipe for a revival.

I view the current situation in the same way I view many on AFF who say they are "Apostolic." We all know they aren't. Their belief system is directly opposed to anything traditionally Apostolic, yet they have hijacked the name.

There will still be an America in the distant future. But it will be an America far different from the one we used to know.

America wasn't just a name. It was an ideal. A set of core values.

It seems those values have died.
