Ironically priests wearing breeches were seen as a sign of modesty ... yet if a woman were to wear breeches under her skirt ... that would be immodest for some?

I'll probably get slammed for this statement, but this is a great example of how some of our "standards" and "doctrines" came about.
And, you're right, there is some solid scripture for this teaching!

is also the Chief Prophetess of the Order of Deborah over all the pastors in our fellowship.

my thoughts exactly MP ! I have thought any preacher who GOES AGAINST the teaching of Paul and goes to one of the 613 Laws and imposes upon women that they must not wera and split legged article of clothing, they should have to follow the law of the bonnet and the breeches
OP's take that Jezebel paint her face ( In reality she applied an eygyptian sun block below her eyes ) and make a ban on any cosmetics.
Using this guilt by association doctrine all form of hunting should be banned.
You can find hunters in the bible that did evil as did Jezebel..so no hunting allowed. Don't be an Esau or a Nimrod.
