Yeah, I saw that a little while ago. There is some rumbling about WEC starting a women's division. That may be a good move since they are more of the niche smaller brother to UFC.

I think it depends on the person.

Is it ok to watch specialists in different disciplines of self deffense, primarily martial arts test their skills, training, and experience against the skills training and experience of other athletes?

Yeah, I think so.

Thats not what UFC or most MMA's is about.
If someone is inclined to violence, brutality, anger problems, and rage issues, then yeah, I'd say they are more likely to commit sin while watching or after watching a UFC competition. They shouldnt watch.

Did anyone of you MMA/UFC fans happen to catch the debacle on the Pay Per View the other night? Patrick Cote stepped wrong and tore his A.C.L. apparently and the ref stopped the fight.....very disappointing especially if you spent money on it.

I heard that it was very lackluster to that point. It was a very atypical fight for Silva. he was dancing around and bowing and not really engaging. People were already booing by the time the fight was stopped anyway.
