It has comic book violence, but no gore.

I enjoyed it, and I'm not into the "spiritual/exorcist/gore" type movies.

Legers Joker might go down in history as the best movie villian, except for maybe Hannibal Lecter.

It was reported he had trouble sleeping... and was having a hard time with the role he played.

Re: The Dark Knight

I have heard that he had trouble letting go of the character. My guess is that something like that isn't uncommon among actors. They have to immerse themselves in the characters they play.

Could be cause some of the meds he was on was for sleeping problems, but no one can say with certainty that this movie led to his death cause the movie was already completed before he died

Yeah during all the 'Pirates' movie Johnny Depp stayed in character even when not on set. That is what he said in an interview with Esquire magazine in '06.

Of course he also was a strange duck and I think pretty much regularly abused medication both prescribed and otherwise (he was a pothead).

Very sad situation. He was a talented young actor who I greatly enjoyed in "The Patriot" where he played Mel Gibson's son.
That was good but I personally liked A Knights Tale better.

I think he had been doing some pretty dark roles lately and that they did affect him. He may have been abusing drugs and that is a shame but unfortunately that is Hollywood. One of the reasons I try not to promote Hollywood to much. Yes I have a TV and yes I have seen movies but I really work on not getting to involved in Hollywood and supporting a lot of their junk.

This was even happening during the filming of Planet of the Apes.
