Thank you all for your prayers. I experienced a tremendous recovery overnight, and felt much better yesterday morning, with the swelling gone way down and the nausea abated.
I am not at my typical 100%, mind and body honed to a razor's edge condition, but I am close.
I appreciate the prayers.
Blessings,
CS

He skeered the liver out of me Thursday night. He called, and you know that tone in someones voice that says "I'm hurting really bad", well that's what I heard and actually had to sit down while talking to him and yelling for Colton. The booger head didn't even tell me where he was going, so if something worse HAD happened I wouldn't have known where to even begin.
I woke him up every hour and asked him some questions and prayed for him. He woke up feeling much better, and was harassing me. So he was feeling good.
Thank God He kept his hand on my husband. Then He touched him in the night and made things better!!! Isn't that just like God. He's so good.
Thanks for your prayers and concern.
Now just pray that I don't kill him or the boys on the rest of the trip to Steadfast's house.

Glad to hear CS is doing much better. Still keep a close eye on him and if he starts sounding "citified" or some other strange things get him to a doctor!

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

CS and Lady CS - glad to hear that things are better! I just now read this thread, as I'm in Africa. Keep us posted; I'm sure Steadfast gave him a hard time over this whole thing.

Good thing CS was hit in that hard head of his.
Being hit in any other part of his body might have resulted in serious injury.
just kidding
When I heard about it I prayed for him.
By the way, I miss his posts.

Bro. / Sis. Rico, whatever gender persuasion you may be. If one is encouraged to not vote McCain then to whom should we turn in your enlightened perspective?
