Interesting. I am in my third week of growing a mustache and goatee. Many have told they like it, while others have said it makes me look older. At 55 I don't need anything that makes me look older

I am not growing it for Easter either. I am growing it because there is absolutley nothing in the word that would indicate men should be clean shaven.

In fact the scriptural evidence is stronger that every apostolic man, to show the distinction of the sexes, should let his beard grow.

The Israelites in the bible, when their enemy humbled them by shaving half their beards off, would not merely shave the other half off and go home.

No, they stayed in Jericho till their beards grew back out before they would show their faces.

The what I see as 'hatred' toward Pentecost is general is becoming more and more open and vicious. Maybe this will become an ex-Pentecostal site where disgruntles can cast stones at the womb that gave them birth. Healthy and heated discussions are one thing but this continual and more and more aggressive posts which are laden with anti-Pentecostalism is general is becoming more than I can bear. It is becoming harder to leave these asaults at the computer I do not want to carry them with me. I pray for each of you that seem to have been hurt beyond repair that somewhere the God of Heaven will heal your hurts and wounds that you might again be restored to the Apostolic fatih. This could very well be my last post on this forum. So farewell in case I don't return.
I do not see things this way. To share and debate issues is what this forum should be about. That is a freedom not afforded folks within the confines of the church setting.

I think you should continue to share your thoughts..

If you're going to leave don't announce it to the world like you're begging for attention and use your 'woe is me' thread as a way of getting your last digs in on people you disagree with.

Just disappear...

How many times have we seen these good bye cruel world- (ly posters) threads and then they come crawling back.

But if attention is what one desires..good bye threads are good then

Actually , Matt, I think some of these posters have become enamored with the glistening edge of their sharp tongue and they love putting it on anyone they disagree with!

I did. It didn't make me feel any better to read it the second time.

If he doesn't return, he will be greatly missed.
