Which band of the Choctaw is your wife registered with? The primary tribal band or one of the more remote obscure bands?

I am Choctaw and Chickasaw but have been unable to get the necessary documentation to get registered on the tribal roles. We have found the role numbers for my Great Grandparents on the Dawes roles but have been unable to prove that my grandmother is their daughter since she was born at home.

I am proud of my Indian heritage but I too find humor in Native American jokes.

Sorry, bro...you are in error with this statement. I have personal experience with this scenario.
My close friend was an illegal. They came to church and got saved, her hubby went to work for my hubby's company. (Not his own, at that time) They paid him CASH money. The family had free dental care, medical needs as well as meds PAID for 100%. They eventually got sent BACK to Mexico, but are now back and legal. It took about five years...

My hubby has his own construction business- he says folks of mexican descent are the hardest working men he knows- he loves'em. Besides, they bring the stuff to make homemade lunches on the job site- and he loves fresh jalapenos!!!! LOL

Not me...at least they contribute to the economy. They are hard working, and not lazy. I don't begrudge anyone help, if they contribute to society. It's the ones that lie around all day, and do nothing that get help that infuriate me. JMTCW.
