All to often there is movement to kill the messenger even if the message is correct. Seems like the US is headed for trouble. Such that even Obama can't get us out of.

Folks can trust God by believeing He will allow the seeds they plant in their garden to grow while others will trust God to give them everything they need even if they are not willing to work for it. If a anyone wants to eat they must work.

I agree with this, right down to the hoping that you are wrong.

At the very least, I think most people are getting ready to have huge lifestyle changes.

Eventually you have to pay your bills or face financial ruin, and I think America is getting ready to have to pay.

Yes you are supposed to stock pile in these instances. There is biblical precedent. Remember Joseph and the 7 years of famine? The way it was done in the Bible was to store 1/5 of the harvest.
In modern practical terms that would mean buying 5 cans of milk and store one of them. A lot of people are advising to stockpile. There very well could be several truckers stricks--where they pull over to the side of the road and refuse to move freight. THEY HAVE DONE IT BEFORE. That would mean supply disruption, panic buying and price spikes. If you want to skip it all--buy rice, beans, canned veggies etc. and store. You should not need a lot. I have enough stored to last about 3 weeks. I want to take that to at least a month.
Avoid a common mistake people make who store. Don't put in in your garage and forget about it--eat from your store as you would from your pantry. Just replace what you use. The only thing that you should not rotate in and out would be if you got into it in a big way and put up dry canned milk, flour etc. Those are good for up to 10 years shelf life.

if just that comment alone.

I heard yesterday that Calif. should not be surprised if Gas hits
$6 by the end of the year. now, you may scoof at that but we are
already almost at $5 here

So, a truckers strike might not be too far off the radar

Truckers have already started striking in Europe!
