How are we judging best? Championships won or most athletic ability?

Sorry my bad. Wasn't comparing the Tiger to Jack, I was responding to Jordan as the best athlete. I think there have been better athletes.

Tiger Woods can't tie my shoelaces! (because I can't get close enough to him to ask him!)

Well, who would you consider better? Kobe? No way... He has never been the center piece like he is now and they are losing.

Jordan and Tiger just know how to come back, Tiger went into this with an injury, not making him have an excuse but making him human.

Tiger is by far the best, the skill level and the mentality have been matched by few and Jordan has been there.

IMHO of course.

Kobe? No.

Thinking more along the lines of a Bo Jackson. Somebody who was a great athlete not just a great player in one sport.
