Yes,you would think God would hear their sincere pray and show them the truth,well some he does.He knows who will except him and who will not.We are predestinated according to our will.

God corrected and punished people as things took place.There was no law untill Moses.
Rom.4:[15] Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.

Abraham Talking to the rich man in hell told him that if his 5 brohters would not listen to Moses and the prophets then they would not listen to a dead man come back from the grave.
Few of the Islamic people will listen to Moses and the Prophets, and few will listen to Jesus.

Gen. 4:

The law had not been given yet.
Deut.12:

9For ye are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which the LORD your God giveth you.
Judges 17:

The law and the prophets were until John. But grace and truth came
by Jesus Christ.
