The only caveat MissKendall is that you will not really know the ramifications until you're in it ....
It takes time for 2 single adults sans kids to mesh ... add children that are not yours to the mix and it can be overwhelming ...

OK... So I have to clear something up. I never said I thought it was cool not to tell the guy! In this girls situation she can't. Like I told Berk in PM...... She was out of town on a cruise to the Bahamas, and made a mistake one night, and woke up in the strangers room. She doesn't know his name, what state he lives in , phone number, NOTHING. She is not keeping it from him to be mean. She can't really help it. See, it's not so easy is it?

If you know the type of man he is, you shouldn't have made a baby with him in the first place, right?
Also, people change. Some for the better, some for the worst.
Some men are jerks. I admit that. But sometimes those jerks grow up and mature and would like to have something to do with their children that they ignorantly wrote off.
There are also mothers that want to 'get back' at the man and take his child, refusing to allow him to have anything to do with that child. The detriments will be on her.

I wonder if some of the more conservative churches would even allow such a wedding to take place. Its already been said by some that they wouldn't allow a couple to marry in their church who weren't virgins. (Ya know.... not "touched for the very first time". LOL)

There have been many examples of Apostolic men marrying Apostolic women with children. The likelihood of that union would be greater if the couple, especially the man, were older.
A young man would probably want to become financially established before entertaining the thought of having a baby with all the cost that comes with that responsibility. Plus, a prolonged honeymoon period would be an added benefit.
