But I'm sure your sympathy is well appreciated by a good majority of conservative Apostolic skier chicks.
O my..what a flashback!! I use to (20 years ago) waterski in long bluejeans and a shirt...in public.

The resort owners up in Mn called us "the religoues people"

When it come to people, I think God prefers spiritual "fruits" over religeous "nuts"

How can personal liberties be enforced?

I've already stated, someone can live as strict a dress code or lifestyle as they feel led to. I don't care. I just feel bad when I see them skiing in a skirt.

*I promise I am outta here after this but .....

first I learned about
"the courage of a chicken"
and now I am learning about
"liberties being enforced"

I need to go take the IQ test again and see if I can break Chan's record.

*good nite all, my first day got a little carried away....
if I upset anyone, please send me a PM and I will publically apologize for not having my PM's turned on..... *

Here's what I believe.

1. Many libs want to enforce personal liberties upon the church - thereby making them legalists.

2. Many libs advocate personal liberties so that sin is harder to define.

3. Many libs supposed "need for biblical proof" is really a smokescreen to hide the need for personal gratification in all areas of life.

I might agree with you if you said "some" libs. I disagree with "many."

And I do consider myself a card carrying liberal ( in forum terms anyway).

Mt daughter and I ran into a youth group from our old church a few years ago on a snow ski outing.

My daughter, who is as great a Christian lady you'd ever meet.
She was wearing ski pants. No skirt.

The girls from the other group from our old church were all wearing Skirts over every kind of two legged garment you could imagine.

I was embarased for them.

This thought may have occured to you too.

If we say that pants are an abomination for a women or girl to wear.

Is all we have to do to UNabominate them is to wear a skirt over them.

Good grief...how ignorant is that?
