Absolutely. (And if it sounded as if I implied that, I am sorry...I did not.)
I think everyone has their own personal convictions and I think those are the ones you need to keep in check, per se. There are things that I do not necessarily believe is right or wrong, but some of those things I have a personal conviction about and stay away from.

You have joined the exclusive club that a couple of the others around here belong to... the FULL OF HOOEY club. Your posts are so grossly biased and full of vitriol towards all that birthed you that you should go stand in front of a mirror and slap your self until all that HOOEY runs out your nose!
I find the majority of your posts to be grotesque and perverted portrayals of Pentecost born in a mind that is either scarred by past wounds or willfully deceived.
Aaron and Vonnie are my daughter and son in law's music pastors.. that is why I can talk like that Plus Vonnie is my sister and Aaron is my brother and I was roommates with Marlon Salazar whose dad was AA's Bishop at one time so I REALLY have the right to talk like this.
Have a nice day! (more pentecostal psychobabble - you figure out what it means)

I know that she has been working on it with a well known producer (Mano Hanes). They were supposed to start shopping it around to different labels. Thanks for reminding me...I am going to ask her that on Saturday.

The bible does speak about shunning people.

Huh! How can Vonnie be your sister and Aaron your brother? By the way, I was responding to Sandra and her comment. I was not commenting on Vonnie. I'm still trying to figure out why you have such a quick temper and jump to conclusions.

Not true. I have some personal convictions that are mine and mine alone, that God has talked to me about in prayer, but I don't share them with others, nor do I try to push them off on other people. Personal convictions are precisely what they sound like: personal. e.g., between me and God.
It can also mean that it is how I understand a particular scripture, and I acknowledge that others may interpret it differently, therefore my interpretation and subsequent practical application is a personal conviction.

I think Vonnie feels comfortable abiding by the dress code and all that goes with it- hair bun, long skirt, etc. and i think she gets a certian respect especially from the Black church community for it. In their churches, The Mothers, missionaries & evangelist often do not wear pants and makeup and are held in hig regards.
