Welcome, Brother Price.

With all that's going on with your Dad, don't get so busy that you don't take care of yourself also.

Shucks!

For better health, develop an exercise regimen that you do no less than 3 times a week for no less than 20 minutes per session.
I just KNEW you or someone would say that, lol..yeah I KNOW that isn't the same, not aerobic enough..but at least I am NOT sendentary which would be certainly do me in., I am now in therapy (for back problems) and they are going to be pointing me in the right direction for a muscular realignment, more or less at least a beginning, they say.
COuldn't I just ORDER a new body from Ebay or somethin?

I KNOW I have checked out labels and been amazed to see that., seems better to just eat reg ice cream., which I LOVE!

Yesterday was OOTW (Out Of This World)!

Dad started having stroke symptoms about 2:30 yesterday morning. I got him to VA. They ran tests and found that his calcium level was at 15 (normal I believe is 2.2-2.6), and his blood sugar was 21. They admitted him last night, and this morning, they say he is sleeping well and being took good care of.

It was so bad. He kept saying that he wanted to die, to leave him alone to die. He had severe mood swings, and was out of control. Last night was the first peaceful nights sleep I had in a while here.

I need your prayer. They have Dad's cancer at level 4, because of how it spread. But, it is under control thanks to Jesus and good docs. Pray for his strength and our's as well.

Love ya, AFF!

Normal calcium level is 8-10. BS of 21 is about as close to hypoglycemic death you can get to.

Talk to your dad and pray with him. Miracles still happen. His salvation is more important than his healing.

It could very well be that he feels so badly that he does want to die, people not even as bad off as him, can get like that, its more or less normal when one feels hopeless., is in very poor health, I feel sad for him, but also concerned about his salvation, if he could go at any time., it would sure be nice for him to KNOW that there IS a much better place awaiting him.

I will indeed pray that he strengthens your father in all ways at least long enough to make a rational decision for JESUS., and I will pray for you too so that you may continue to bear and endure, this burden of sorrow.
I feel ya'lls pain to a certain degree, how I wish you nor anyone, had to go through such times., but with JESUS all things are possible.

Bill,

I am glad your dad is in the hospital and getting good care. I know that has to be a relief to you. I know what it is like to be with a beloved parent who is in such pain and discomfort they are crying out and you cannot do anything for them. It is gut wrenching and nerve wrackng. I will continue to pray for you, your Dad, and your entire family.
