That is part of it. He translated the entire Hebrew Bible, with commentary:

Re: What Are You Reading Currently, 2.0

I've recently finished the following books:

The Shortness of Life by Seneca

https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/b...ife-by-seneca/

Also finished Mindwise by Dr. Nicholas Epley.

And I finally, after nearly two years, finished The Lucifer Effect by Dr. Philip Zimbardo.

I finished Proverbs in the NASB and am all the way through to 1 John in the ESV.

Still reading Exodus in Friedman's Torah with Commentary.

Also reading Leviathan by Thomas Hobbes.

Finally, I am also reading The Holiness of God by R.C. Sproul.

I am really looking forward to the last one, as Genesis is my favorite book of the Bible, and Abraham is my favorite personage/character of the Bible.
Wow. I bought this three years ago, and am only now in 2020 reading it!

Re: What Are You Reading Currently, 2.0

Just about finished with the ESV, nearing the end of Revelation.

NASB still reading Isaiah.

I've also been reading Women Who Run With the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype by Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes.

Also reading and nearly finished with The Lamb's Supper: The Mass as Heaven on Earth by Dr. Scott Hahn.

I also recently finished 3rd and 4th Maccabees in the NETS.

I've finished the ESV and have begun reading the Reina-Valera. I've only read the introduction and when I read next, it will be Genesis 1.

Still reading Isaiah in the NASB. In the NETS, I am reading the Wisdom of Salomon.

I've also started reading Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, along with Deadly Emotions by Dr. Don Colbert, MD, and Heaven and Hell by Dr. Bart Erhman.

I just received from Amazon my pastor's new book "An Authentic Experience - Creating an Inviting Culture with Biblical Integrity".

I have my yellow highlighter out and look forward to a good read!

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Looking for recommendations.

I've read the following translations:
KJV
NKJV
NIV
ESV
NLT

Is there another version that I should add to my reading collection?
