I favored action on health care because my mom died last year because she didn't have the money to see a doctor about a condition that led to a heart attack. It's in response to loosing my mother...not a political ideology.
Not possible. I am sorry for your loss.

Women are killing babies. And sadly, the Government isn't capable of adequately dealing with the issue. We need churches and private institutions to educate and help women.
Doctors are with the woman's consent that you favor.

Aquila, do you believe partial-birth abortion should be outlawed, or allowed?

Daniel 12:3 And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars for ever.
Let's go with a real scenero. Let's say your wife is pregnant and the doctors discover cancerous growth in your uterus. They say that the odds are good that she'll naturally miscarry. However, if she chooses to continue carrying the child until she miscarries she runs the risk of the cancer being too advanced to properly treat it. Out of the four doctors on staff in the consultation room two say that they advise she abort. Two say that there's a chance the cancer will remain localized and be treatable if she carries the child until it miscarries or is born. Also, the chances are good that if the child is born and survives, it will be severely deformed and mentally handicapped because the growth is eating up nutrients the child needs.
Your wife's life is at stake according to two doctors the other two argue that there's a good chance that the cancer will remain localized and be treatable after the baby is born. They are divided. Do you want the choice to abort to belong to you and your wife....or do you want the Government drawing the line as to if it's necessary or not? Your wife's life is on the line. Who chooses....the two of you or the Government?
Please answer my question, don't pose one to me until you answer mine.

If it were my wife...I'd find you and shoot you dead. My wife and I are far more qualified to make that decision than your almighty Government. As is you and your wife.
And for the record...it's an illusion. The Government will never police this issue and enforce just penalties. It's beyond the scope of Government's capabilities.
Well, that answers my question, lol.
Because who, besides you, can truly determine whether he needs to be shot dead?!?!?!

I'm saying that the power to choose is best left in the hands of individuals, like you and your wife. Now, if some abuse that right and choose an uncessary abortion they will answer to God for it. Government isn't God. Government is entirely incapable of policing and prosecuting women who abort.
Trust me....they will reap what they sow.
You say they will reap what they sow, and yet you support that? If you believe that those who support the behavior of abortion will reap the judgement of God, why then do you in turn support the government who does this? So that they can reap? Your argument becomes more counterproductive by the minute.
What makes the women's life of more importance than the baby's?
It's not that her life is more important. They are both of inestimable value. However, she is the mother. Her well being and health trump that of the child in dire circumstances. If she wills to endure and face possible death, I think that is the most noble options. However, if after counseling with her husband, her pastor, and in much prayer and sorrow of heart decides to end the pregnancy to preserve her life or health....it's her choice.
And I'm leery of the idea of the Government deciding when those choices are a possibility. The Government rarely gets things right when it comes down to individuals and the situations and circumstances they face. I can see a woman who's life is in danger battling the courts to abort to save her own life and the Government denying her an abortion and she AND the child die and the husband is left with nothing when he and his wife could have made that most difficult decision, grieved the loss of their child, and tried to have a family again had the Government just stayed out of their crisis.
