Bro. Strange,

To tell the truth, the music has changed and they don't use the old song books anymore, but I do like to hear the old familiar tunes every once in a while.

As far as the prophecies...well, I am not sure that a public campmeeting at offering time is the place. I think that someone just wanted the focus on themselves. The spirit of the prophet is subject to the prophet... I will say that the Bible tells us to..try the spirits to see whether they are of Christ or not...sounds like your spirit did not connect with the spirit of the prophet.

There is changes happening...some good and some are listening to a stranger's voice...I hope the elect will not be fooled.

Where does the bible say "thou shalt not given thine prophecy during thine offering time. Thou shalt hold it in till later"?

As I rode through the country side, I tried so hard to identify certain land marks over the landscape. You sense it when you travel the spiritual highways, looking for the old landmarks. The grandkids scarecly know who the grandparents were or what was wrought by them and their sacrifices...having little to no memory, much less appreciation or love.

Not long ago, Marie and I were traveling toward a certain small city. Before we arrived we topped a hill. Simultaneously, our breaths were taken away. We each looked at the other and simultaneously said to the other, "DID YOU FEEL THAT???" There was an instant change in the spirit as we topped the hill.

Of course all of this is subjective lacking scientific validation which some want. It is not there in the material world. Yet the spiritual world unknown by most is a confused egnima...still insisting on scientific or natural validation.

Believe it or not, Bro. Strange, I have had this same kind of experience while traveling to minister in a different place than my home town.

before I go to work, its time you hear from Jesus yourselves and stop waiting on a prophet and making them into idols.People fail and people let you down but Jesus will never let you down.
While I am on my soap box I want to say that there are some real prophets of God out there that are not recognized because they seem to have the wrong associates.

Well Trouvere, I was at that service, were you? I have been a licensed minister for 36 years and have pastored for 32. I am not rebuking an Elder. If he is a true eder...he would not attack another preacher here, but he would go to him personally. He had the nerve to talk about another minister on the forum and I have every right to state my opinion. As for your opinion, you have a right to that but that does not make you right. In my opinion MB is a great evangelist and has been used mightily of God. As a matter of fact he praeched in our church a few weeks ago and we had 20 people recieve the Holy Ghost. I felt like I needed to speak up for MB. He is my friend and I did not appreciate the insinuations made in the very first post. I still believe it was of God!
