Mr. Epley, (And I wish I could call you brother or Elder, but the Bible said, John 13:35 "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.") if you pride yourself in being harsh, ugly and uncivil then hold your head high.... you've made it! If what you manifest is love then somewhere I missed it.
The sad part, (in my opinion), nothing I say, nor anything anyone else says on AFF or for that part probably anywhere else, will affect you or change you. You are so self-centered and think that what you say is gospel, and I'm sorry, in many cases it's not! Just because you've "made up your mind" doesn't make it so!
It would appear that you have gone from a spirit of sensitivity to a spirit of sensuality, priding yourself in what great things that you can say, which in fact are not great but are so carnal and fleshy! And I can determine, I believe, that you are not perfect, because you sure don't have your tongue under control if you say the things that you write on AFF. Jas 3:2 "For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body."
Now go ahead and make this the second most stupid post of the year, but just because you say this about my post and about Aquila's post does not make it so. I write this in love and in hope that you "might" consider your ways and be a little kinder to the trinitiarians and anyone else that disagrees with you.
You are not God and your word is not the final word! Have a good day.

No sir! I know beyond every shadow of doubt that I am saved. There's no question about that one in my heart.
I am 100% heaven bound. I have eternal life right now. No doubt at all!!!
And some scriptures that I found that confirm already what I knew within me!
1 John 5:10
He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
Rom 8
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
Wake me up any day, any hour, I know Jesus is mine and I am his. Glory to God. He died for my sins. Washed me in his blood, filled me the Holy Ghost. AMEN!
I know that I know that I know that I will see Jesus face to face. Take the whole world and give me JESUS.
Brother, I tell you, ever since Jesus saved me, whew my...it's just joy everyday. I know him and I want to know him more in the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his suffering.
I LOVE JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Timmy is right. Jesus paints quite a picture of those who believe they are serving Jesus in Matthew 7...

First off, you have to be born again to know Jesus. Not just head knowledge, but having a real, true, living relationship with him. And being born again is 100% absolutely a work of God. Salvation begins with God and ends with God.
Secondly, those Jesus was talking about in Matt 7 were not doing the will of God. And what is the will of the Father?
Matt 7
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
John 6
37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
So the context of Matt 7 is not talking about not being assured of salvation. Assurance of salvation, by the way, is a personal thing between an individual and God. I have eternal life now. I don't have to wait. I have the witness in me. Amen!

Re: All Trinitarians are Lost!!!!!!!!!!!
1 John 3
19And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
20For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
21Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
These scriptures are so REAL and alive. The commandment of God is to believe in Jesus Christ and love one another. If you keep this commandment, God lives in you and you in him.
Now, we can compare this with Matt 7. Those that Jesus said they should depart from him. They did not keep the commandment of God, which is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
It ALL boils down to believing on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be SAVED, amen!

Those in Matthew 7 called Jesus Lord and in another place we are told that no man can call Jesus Lord but by the Holy Ghost. It seems to me they had the Holy Ghost and not to mention they even worked the works that only the Holy Ghost can give one power to work... So yes i believe those people had the Holy Ghost and knew Jesus.

Re: All Trinitarians are Lost!!!!!!!!!!!
For those who insist on literally keeping the ten commandments (calling it the Law of God) and yes, it is the Law of God. Here's Paul's view:
2 Cor 3
1 Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?
2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:
5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?
9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.
11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious
Paul is speaking of the TEN COMMANDMENTS here. The commandments that were written in stone. Paul said it was done away with. Paul said it was glorious, yet it was still done away with.
How was the law done away with?
Rom 8
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit
The law is done away with because those of us who walk in the Spirit have fulfilled the Law.
Remember, Jesus said He did he did NOT come to destroy the Law but to FULFILL the Law.
Matt 5
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
No man fulfilled the Law. Jesus FULFILLED the Law. Jesus FULFILLED the Law.
When we are in Christ, God counts as though we fulfilled the Law. This is whole crux of the gospel. This is what makes us justified before God. This is what makes us stand sinless before God.
When Christ died, God accounted us as dead in Christ.
Col 3
1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
Rom 6
1What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
So now, to fulfill the Law of God, walk in the Spirit.
Rom 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit

Typically those who call others stupid and other names themselves usually lack intelligence and by extension vocabulary. They tend to become frustrated when they feel overwhelmed by logical argument or by unfamiliar terms that they can not understand.
I'm not sure who here that makes stupid.

Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
They called him Lord, but they obviously did not obey his will. Jesus himself said "he never knew them." They could claim to know Jesus, but did Jesus know them? That's the real question?
Jesus said in John 10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
So yes, they might claim to "know" Jesus, but only Jesus knows if they truly know him.
We see a lot of "christians" today who claim to know Jesus, but does Jesus know them? that question is one that each individual has to answer for himself.
The bible says that the Spirit bears witness our spirit that we are the sons of God. If Jesus knows them, their spirit will bear witness to that truth.
As for them having the HolyGhost: Yes, they prophesied in his name and did many wonderful works.
A person doing such does not NECESSARILY mean the person is APPROVED by the God. Now, this may sound strange, but look at the case of Balaam and Saul.
Balaam prophesied under the anointing of the Spirit of God. Yet, Jesus rebuked him in Rev 3. In fact, God did not approve of Balaam in Numbers 23 even though he did prophesy.
Saul prophesied when the Spirit of God came upon him (even the Hebrews said "Is Saul among the Prophets?"). But Saul was no prophet.
So yes, a person can do mighty works in under the anointing in the name of the Lord, but yet the person is NOT approved by the Holy Spirit of God.

Re: All Trinitarians are Lost!!!!!!!!!!!
Sometimes...people read what they think is the negative in passages of Scriptures and overlook the Spiritual promises of what God said He would do for us. It is up to us to claim those Spiritual promises.
For 30 years I have prayed for guidance in my life and God has never let me down any time I have prayed and just believed, even when I did not see immediate answers.
Thank you TGBTG for ministering to me this morning.
