Well even as a kid I was able to read that chapter and get what Paul was teaching. It really isn't all that difficult. What Paul taught there is comprehensible enough for sure.
And as long as I can remember that chapter has been debated and discussed and argued and not just by rebellious contentious women either.
LOL. Even scholars much more knowledgeable than any of us here aren't able to come to consensus.
Why would women who love God and live to please him cut their hair out of
rebellion?! Makes no sense. And for me it's just not a big issue. It was never a burden to let my hair grow. I didn't complain about it either.
None of the standards were an issue for me. Still aren't. I'm letting my hair grow -- it's the longest it's been in several years now. One reason is that it's easier to fix.
I keep it up a lot now.
