It all begins with a change of attitude. Your past does not define your future, all around you there are folks, not as smart as you that are making lots of money. If you don't have your finances in order already, get Dave Ramsey's book, "Total Money Makeover" and follow it without fail and you will get out of debt. Then follow his plan into wealth building, it is a simple plan, and it will show you where the problems are, with clear guidance forward.
The problem is too many will say, "That just won't work in my situation." That is a lie, it will work. Go for it, Bro.
You either have a spending problem, or an income problem, that's it! It is God's will that we "prosper and be in health" I don't care what the fearful and unbelieving have to say about it. No where in scripture is poverty glorified.

Who ever started this idea that David danced in underwear? He danced in a linen ephod which was a priest's garment. Not drawers!

Actually too David was doing something that was a custom in his times.
When dignitaries and such came to an area and there was a long procession and dancing was done to honor the presence of The Dignitary.
David's dance was done to honor the returning presence of The Lord.

The initial despair that I expressed in the beginning had to do with the fact that Apostolics seem to be so gullible in accepting some of these things that they seem to have little knowledge of and what seems to be a shift in the movement. As I stated before, I felt much better after last nights service.

Whe the state of conscience is altered by chants, there is no telling what sort of spirit will come in. I've seen the spirit of error come in and sweep away whole crowds of people all the while thinking that it was the Holy Ghost.
Yeah, Elder Epley may think that I am delusional too.
Oh well, I've said far too much already.
Let him that has an ear, hear my deepest heart-felt concerns here.
Go back and read my initial post... 'nuff said.

In your initial post, and several after, you blasted this man as a false prophet, or one that had fallen to the spirit you're familiar with from the Wisdom Center.
You then bemoaned the state of the church and put on black as a sign of your sadness. All this because you didn't like the offering, or the man taking the offering.
Suddenly after going last night you feel better, the suns shining, you've probably left the black suit in the closet.
No offense here, but it seems to me as you're a little spiritually unstable. Either that, or you're easily swayed by feelings and emotions . . . which is ironic seeing as you seem to be so against that.
You post as if in one service the church is going to hell in a handbasket, but suddenly in the next service it's back on track . . . The Bible says a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.
So what will it be tonight? Is there a service tonight? Will the church be back on the highway to hell? Will you again don the black suit in morning?
And when you spoke with the man you blasted online, did you have the guts to relate to him your thoughts and feelings? Or did you smile and hug his neck while stabbing him in the back?

No. It's all vague feelings that suddenly changed within 24 hours.
Sounds like a case of either heartburn or constipation.

I totally agree, CJ. God wants to bless and prosper His children, just as we want to bless and prosper our own. It's not a good witness to be broke all the time. I believe in prosperity, but I believe in a balance. I don't think He minds us having nice stuff, but we have to be Kingdom minded first. The reason for prospering His children is so they can further the work of God!! If someone is promoting wealth for only personal gain, then I think it's wrong.
The Bible does say that you should have an inheritance for your children's children. Sounds like prosperity to me!!
