BTW, personally I feel that if people want to keep standards and it works for them then people need to quit telling them to stop and leave them alone. Maybe it is Biblical for them.
I think when Holy Ghost people are viewed as too human and err they then back up and think the standards aren't necessary because of that. They somehow get the impression that it makes you holy inside and so = throw it out when it doesn't.
When standards people disappoint you, you can stop believing in it. That's just my take on what is going on.
I'm personally going to do what I do and not worry about everyone else. I'm going to keep getting up and walking the only way I know how - one step at a time.
You may look the part and not be what you look like BUT cannot be Apostolic and not look Apostolic.
Some may play policeman and not be, play soldier and not be, play doctor and not be but each does have a uniform.
There is nothing Biblical that makes us 'look Apostolic'. Peter said we aren't to be known by our adornment, but by our meek and quiet spirit, the hidden man of the heart.
I'm a nurse whether or not I'm wearing a uniform. There are times I don't look like a nurse, but that doesn't negate the fact that I am one. Regardless what I'm wearing, when people see me in action, they KNOW what I am.
The same should be said of any Christian. When people see us in action, they know who we are.

Any one who doest dress holy, dresses like the world and immodest, is not Apostolic and not a child of God.
One can dress right and not be Apostolic but one cannot be Apostolic and not dress right.
To be separate from this world has nothing to do with clothes. What separate us is our love, our love should be unlike anything this world can offer, our love becomes like Jesus, His love is what separate us from this worlds love.
Look around, you'll see people who look and dress Apostolic, yet they are far from it. In fact there a huge Mormons polygamists group in AZ and Canada that look Apostolic.
