He wasn't always vaughn- not in the early years and he retained his teachings on doctors( and denistry!) from the early teachings of his pastor who was a Branhamite.

If you research, you will find that this particular pastor was in CA. at the time and his pastor prophecied that CA. was going to fall into the ocean thus the Mass move to the phoenix area

Yes, I know people who believe that doctrine (no doctors). Some taught that UNTIL THEY got sick and needed one
I don't agree with that but if they want to believe God to the death so be it nothing in scripture prohibits that.

He attended Don Abernathy's church in California for a season that is what Mark is referring to.

There was people at the funeral who were originally from CA. and they did indeed believe that he would rise from the dead thus the insistance that he not be buried. when they finally had to conede, they changed the belief or understanding that he would arise one easter sunday
