This makes me wonder about something. God knows us, He knows what we'll respond to. I wonder how much of what He does for us is simply due to that? I've had so many experiences coming back into the church that are simply the *only* thing I would have responded to at that time. It's in no way been coincidence.

I've tried to stay out of this, but BB, your attitude really needs some adjustment.
Women can be and are used of God to minister. You can't deny that and if you do, you my dear friend, are extremely in need of some serious prayer.
What has the bolded statement above got to do with price of cheese in China?
If you are sending her a barb, you need to be slapped and I'll happily administer that. ( If I read something into that, forgive me, if not.....)
Let me ask you a question, my friend, Do you believe that people that are pastored by a woman are saved?

Sister, your testimony is great. No one is challenging that. All that's being asked here is for the scriptures that make allowance for a woman to be an elder in Jesus' New Covenant Church. No one has said that women cannot be a witness. What is asked for is the scriptrures that God has given us that allows for such a thing. We have them for men, but no one has listed any for women. Can you please list any?

So tell me what to google to find information about Greek. I know how to do word studies, but I'm getting the feeling (since I have a very different opinion than you do...lol) that I'm not interpreting things the way you are. I'd like to have more information about the original languages and how they're used in order to better understand for myself.
Oh..in case no one has noticed, I don't like taking anyone's word for anything. I'll gladly take sources that'll give me the information I need to better study and learn for myself though.
