The really sad thing is, young black men die daily at the hands of other young black men. There should be more outrage over that. But know this, my outrage is that no one has the right to take another's life, no matter their skin color or what their character. But, Mr Zimmerman made a choice, and because of that, self defense or not, a young man died.

Does anybody else see the incredible irony of conservative news outlets bemoaning the fact that the liberal media is running propaganda in relation to the images of Zimmerman and Martin? They purport to set the record straight by running accurate portrayals of the two, so they show a nice smiling picture of Zimmerman and a "thuggish" picture of a shirtless Martin with his middle fingers up....except it is not a picture of Martin at all. To me that is by far the more egregious portrayal. It is by far the worse piece of propaganda.
My point is WAKE UP. There is a tremendous amount of propaganda both ways and people on both sides take the propaganda from their perspective source of choice hook, line, and sinker and perceive it as the objective one.

Both sides have used propaganda in this whole process.
However, there is a pic of Tray with his middle finger up that is legit. It was posted to his twitter account.
The one posted by some outlets with both fingers up is not him.
Everyone needs to back off and wait for the legal process to play out.

Not only is black on black crime rampant but black on white crime far outnumbers white on black. However you don't see Al Sharpton and Rev Jesse Jackson anywhere when blacks commit horrific crimes against whites.
If Jesse and Al rev some morons up to the point they murder some white folks out of their rage then then Jesse and Al will be as guilty of murder as the ones who actually do it.

Wow. First of all, I consider many of the people here on AFF far more "my own" than Mr. Innis who I neither know or know anything about. Secondly, I have stated so many times that I have no use for Sharpton and his ilk. I don't know how many ways I can say that that is not what this is about to me nor have they shaped or affected my perception of what I heard. You cannot just lump every person who questions this case with those extremists that you like to get worked up about. It would be just as pointless as me quoting what White Supremacists have to say (and they do say a lot) and trying to tie every white person here to it.
Furthermore, I am very active in the community when it comes to doing my part to combat crime and violence and to try to influence youth to go a better way. I am very aware of the very real issues that plague the black community.
Also for the umpteenth time, what has caused this situation to stand out to many people is not that someone got killed, but that someone got killed and the killer was allowed to walk away. That is what harkens back to a much darker place and time in American history for many.
