Most aren't like the Catholics who have communion every service.
How oft though Rico?

Repentance, Baptism in Jesus Name & receiving the Holy Ghost is the bare minimum.

yes the washing in water is what it means. So how does that mean baptism does not mean what we've all come to believe it to be other than to immerse someone totally in water?

Likewise this washing is done by someone else. A person dips you and your body into water

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Belief is the minimum, all those other things follow.

Like I said, if you can present the arguments here I can address them. But what I just posted I did not make up. Get some study tools, research it yourself. Don't accept my word or that video
The reason to watch or listen is that in the message the preacher is reading from the Greek and English Lexicon by Lidell and Scott. That is why.

Again, he either contradicted himself or you are twisting scripture.

I tend to believe the book.

Sounds plain to me.
Another reason why I let the Normally Incorrect Version fall by the wayside. There is a big difference in "shall" and "should."

So Heaven will be filled with Catholics?
What about those who profess faith & sit around smoking dope?

My good buddy was doing just that when we knocked on his door & invited him out to Church.

Are all his dope smoking friends going to be in Heaven too?

Not twisting scripture at all. Just picking out Acts 2:38 on till the end of the of the chapter and say that is talking about salvation you are negating what he already told them about salvation to get them to the point where they asked what shall we do? Or what now...then you read Acts 2:38. Go re read it Ron. You are the one pulling scripture out of its context to try and prove a point. It doesn't work your way if you read the whole chapter. Also if you tend to believe the book then read the whole thing then you will really see what is done there. You must read it with an open mind cause otherwise you only will see it through the OP glasses.

Salvation is tied to both, believing and baptism, as well as Spirit indwelling, repentance, living holy, enduring til the end.....
