I played at a church last year (out of state) and they had the Organ Leslie speaker in another room in the back somewhere ! I hated it- could not get the feel. and electric drums??? UGGGGG! those things are GARBAGE!

Uh...was the speaker miked? Did you have a monitor? I mean if live means just out there playing and not being miked instead...tear down that drum cage lol
Electric drums? For some things they are ok. Easy to mike and adjust sound level, but I don't care for HOW they sound. I like real drums

The baptistry is on the right side near the platform where folks can actually get close to the ones being baptized.

Well you know what happens when a church like this engages in a building program (which has to be THE most trying circumstance ever put on a church body), churches across the nation feel obliged to compete.
In our case, if Alexandria ever decided to build, goodness, they would dynamite our building in order to follow suit.
What is going on in our church today is what Alaxandria was doing 3-6 months ago.

Wanted to ... but I forgot to take a picture of it on Saturday ... If I can make it to LIFE this weekend, I'll take a couple of pics.
