Actually this is happening on both sides. HQ does not really care which way "the vote" goes... it's about high turn out for them - to prove people don't mind paying for the registration. LOL!

Right but you will forgo the bitterness so you can go and "vote". It's a conspiracy I tell ya. The UPC Illuminati cannot be stopped.

I am afraid I'm about to make the bitterness worse, but I just found out you can't even get into the display area unless you are registered. I happen to know that sales have been down the last few years. I wonder how they think this will help.

Just to ease your minds, the PAW charged $60 to attend their shindig. I personally would not pay a mandatory charge of a penny to go hear preaching.

Whats the big deal guys? Mo Mens Conference starts tomorrow and we will all be paying registration.

I understand not charging for evangelism - but that is simply not the intent of these sevices.

I am sure there is a visitors exemption for any service at GC with an evangelism thrust (think HG Rally)

It is no big deal. As long as they are using the funds to compensate for the facilities use fees - I have no issues with it. It also costs money to buy gas and drive to the location, just because it's religious does'nt mean it's free.
