Thanks everyone,
It was really a great day.
My boys took me out to eat at a really fine Mex/tex resturant. After we finished our meal, we just sat around and jawboned for a couple of hours. We talked serious stuff, but they eventually got around to making fun and laughing at me...which I enjoyed tremendously. They are really great guys and I had to endure their praises of how great I am, which I accepted with a pinch of salt...with full knowledge that love is blind to full reality...covers a lot of sin and mistakes too.
Afterwards, I did what most old men do. I went to bed early...
Now... I will all too soon be 68 years old. It is amazing how eternity minded you become as you come nearer to the inevitable approach to the crossing of Jordan. But, I feel young. The wife says I do not act my age....can you imagine that?

I guess I still think like a young man though the grey hair and a few more indications besides, testify to the opposite. Example: A tooth broke off below the gum line. I am going to have to have the remainder dug out and an implant screwed into the bone. Oh! The wonders of youth. How I miss it.
Sherri, if you only knew. But, thanks for the good compliment anyway.
DividedThigh, I will leave the light on for you.
It is now another day. What hath God wrought!
